The flowers were incredible!!! Can you believe that the boquets were handpicked and created by Renee’s aunt?!?!?! AYKM??

So, check this out: Before Renee walked down the aisle Nick decided to welcome her in style, so …in typical Nick fashion, he grabbed his ‘axe’ and wailed out a killer MIND-MELTING solo that would make Van Halen cower! We had bass, drums, EVERYTHING…  the crowd LOVED it!!! …I always said that my clients ROCK!  :)

The church was SO hot inside that the rings were a LITTLE tight… however, after a little coaxing everything was great and a high five was in order!  ;)

I really could have gone on forever posting individual photos (and I kind of have, its getting late lol) so instead I am posting their slideshow up as well. Yellow themed wedding? The slideshow song: “Yellow”. Naturally. :)

When the day came I couldn’t help but have a little extra bounce in my step. An intimate wedding with a handfull of people at Rockwater Resort with an amazing couple. Honestly, I couldn’t ask for anything more, and it was absolutely perfect. The entire day was exactly what I hoped it would be, and from the look in Kelly and Liz’s eyes, the day really REALLY could not have gone more perfect than it did. Great people. Great place. Great times.

Melissa and I have known each other for a LONG time… like, wayyyyy back in “the day”. Her and I used to go to school together in Brooks, Alberta!

Although I just met Jim at the session, I could already tell how great of a guy he was. He is funny, friendly, basically the kind of guy that you’d want to hang around with!

These guys look like they have so much fun together and its so apparant how much in love they are with each other! Oh, by the way, both Melissa and Jim have extremely contagious smiles, I mean come on!!! Show me a person that can look at these photos without smiling!! I dare you!

I’ve been a busy little bunny in Calgary over the last few days! Photoshoots, editing, helping friends move, visiting family, preparing for Saturday’s wedding, the list goes on! I woke up particularily early this morning because I really wanted to blog another session, and I really MUST show you my little buddy Matteo. Matteo was born on July 24th, 2009 at approximately 9:52am, weighing in at a GARGANTUAN 9lbs 5oz!! Oh, and his mommy and daddy? None other than the absolutely amazing Rob and Courtney! Congratulations guys! I have to say that for a family as amazing and loving as yours, I’m glad there’s a new little addition to keep it growing :)

A few Sundays ago I spent some time with a very cool couple, Alana and Ante. Alana is extremely funny and SO gorgeous, and even though Ante SAYS he doesn’t like having his photo taken, he sure can work the GQ look in front of the camera! I can’t wait for your wedding in October guys!
