Kelly + Dave : Wedding
September 2, 2009When I got to The Brock House for Kelly and Dave’s intimate wedding I remember thinking how amazing the next few hours were going to be. I met Kelly over a year or so ago through a mutual friend of ours, Carrie (who worked on the cruise ships with Grit and I). Kelly is an extremely positive, beautiful, caring woman, that just lights up the room and all around her, and so when she had asked me to photograph her wedding I was beside myself. HOWEVER, I hadn’t met Dave yet… formally anyways. When Grit and I met up with Kelly and Dave for their Engagement Session in Queen Elizabeth Park a few months ago, I was a WEE bit nervous… Luckily, Dave is one of those guys that you can get along with instantly and immediately feel like you are best friends! We had an absolute blast shooting their esession that night, which then made me EXTREMELY excited for their wedding! Everyoen was pretty mellow and relaxed when I arrived for their wedding, but when the music came on and Kelly walked down the aisle, there was this feeling of energy and love and happiness, it was SO amazing! Everyone had a tear or two when she walked towards Dave with her father, (including yours truly, but I was fortunate to be able to hide it with a camera in front of my face lol).

Here is their wedding slideshow. We all decided that the best song would be the song Kelly walked down the aisle to. So beautiful! :)

laurahana: The sunset shot is amazing! Great work capturing the beauty of this wedding.
Ginger Murray: Really good stuff, Michael! That sunset shot is my fave-- that would make a fantastic canvas.
