Two Sundays ago Grit and I had an amazing time hanging out with Connie and Eric. The sun was absolutely golden, the brown grass and subtle trees made us feel like we were shooting in the plains in Africa, and the laughter and love radiating from Connie and Eric would brighten and warm up even a rainy day like today! :) Guys, I really cannot wait for your wedding in September, we’re gonna have an amazing time!

I have been DYING to get these photos online!! Why? Well first of all, we shot Brian and Shanda’s engagement session ON MY BIRTHDAY! Seriously! Look at them! Don’t they just look FUN?! Well, they are! Multiply how insanely hot they are by about infinity and thats how awesome they are! Coolest Birthday Present. Ever. (Even more so than my awesome new BBQ.)

These are just a tiny little glimpse at all the awesomeness we experienced shooting Brian and Shanda.

Last Wednesday Grit & I had a chance to visit with our friends Amanda and Ryan who were in from Calgary. Amanda is my best friend Ben’s sister, which means that I have known Amanda for roughly 17 years now! (wow how OLD am I??!?!) She is practically a sister to me so when she asked if I would photograph her wedding next July in Alberta, I was blown away. It seems like only yesterday I was locking her out of her own house after school and her brother and I would chase her up and down the stairs… *sigh* Those were the days. :) I had such an amazing time shooting Amanda and Ryan and just loved the chemistry they have between each other. I’m so stoked for their wedding!

Funny story.

This was actually our 2nd attempt at Renee and Nick’s engagement session! The first was a few weeks earlier on top of a mountain and it would have been absolutely epic had we not broken Nick’s jeep. It was so awesome off-roading up until then though! :)

This time we decided to meet down at the White Rock Pier just before sunset. They looked SO good and we had an absolute riot together! I can’t wait for their wedding in July!

Nick brought his guitar. This dude can rock! :)
